Privacy Policy

This site has no accounts, no sign-up, no forms and no comments. There is nothing here for you to submit, so we do not ask for, receive or store your name, your email address or anything else you would type.

The short version

What follows is not a template. Every item below was measured on the live site on 26 August 2026 by loading a page in a real browser and recording every network request, cookie and storage key. If you want to check it yourself, open your browser’s developer tools on any page here and look at the Network and Application tabs.

Who sees your IP address when you open a page

Loading any page on this site causes your browser to contact three companies. Your IP address and browser user-agent are visible to each of them, because that is how the web works — not because we send them anything.

HostWhoseWhy it is contacted
blood-dungeon.wikiCloudflare (our host)Serves the page itself
static.cloudflareinsights.comCloudflareWeb Analytics. Cookieless. Reports aggregate page views and load times to us. We did not add a script for this — Cloudflare injects it for sites on its network. We disclose it because it runs, not because we chose it.
shared.akamai.steamstatic.comValve, via AkamaiServes the six official game screenshots. We link Steam’s images rather than re-hosting Valve’s artwork.
www.googletagmanager.comGoogleGoogle Analytics 4 (property G-B4WPL2JWNX). Records page views, referrers, approximate location and device type. Unlike the Cloudflare script above, we added this one ourselves — it is not injected by our host.

That is the complete list before you click anything. No ad network, no tag manager container beyond the GA4 loader above, no Facebook pixel, no session recorder, no heatmap, no A/B testing tool.

What happens when you click a video

The two videos on this site are facades: what you see before clicking is a still image served from this domain (/video/…jpg), not an embed. Until you click, no Google-owned host is contacted at all.

Click the play button and your browser then loads the player from youtube-nocookie.com, along with the Google hosts it depends on (googlevideo.com, gstatic.com, ggpht.com, google.com, googleapis.com). From that point YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to that player, and we have no control over or visibility into it.

This is the one place where the site hands you off to a third party, and it only happens because you asked it to. If you never press play, it never happens.

Cookies and browser storage

Cookies set by this domain, all first-party (nothing here is set by a third party until you click a video):

NameValuePurpose
PARAGLIDE_LOCALEenRemembers your language. This site is English-only, so in practice it always holds the same value and changes nothing. It comes from the site framework, not from us tracking you.
_ga / _ga_<id>random IDSet by Google Analytics 4. Distinguishes a returning browser from a new one across visits. This is a first-party cookie (issued under our domain, not Google’s), and its retention period is set by Google, not us.

One sessionStorage key, tsr-scroll-restoration-…, remembers your scroll position so the back button returns you where you were. It never leaves your browser and is cleared when you close the tab.

No third-party cookies are set before you click a video. The two cookies above are first-party — they carry Google’s analytics but are issued under our own domain. We verified this by reading the cookie jar in a clean browser profile after a full page load.

What we do not do

  • We do not run ads or work with any ad network.
  • We do not sell, rent or share data, because we do not have any to sell.
  • We do not email you, because we never learn your address.
  • Google Analytics does distinguish returning browsers via the first-party _ga cookie above — we use that to see which pages get read, not to identify you individually.
  • We do not use dark patterns to get consent for things we are not doing anyway.

Where the content comes from

Everything factual on this site is read from Steam’s public endpoints and cited on the page it appears on. See Where our numbers come from. Screenshots and artwork are © Messhof and are shown via Steam’s own image hosts, with attribution.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for you to request, correct or have deleted. Requests about the data Cloudflare or Valve hold should go to those companies directly — we have no access to it.

Contact

We do not currently publish a contact address. We would rather say that plainly than print an address that nobody reads. If something on this site is wrong, the official Steam store page is always authoritative and should be trusted over us.

Changes

If any of the above changes — a new third-party host, an analytics tool, anything — this page gets updated in the same commit that causes the change, and the date at the top moves. It is dated the day it was last measured, not the day the site launched.

This is an unofficial fan-made information hub. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Messhof, Valve, or Steam.
